The Finance Office is responsible for managing the financial operations of all functions within Greene County Government in accordance with the NC Budget and Fiscal Control Act. These functions include the General Fund, Utility Fund (Water and Sewer Department), the Landfill, Fire Districts, Capital Projects and School Construction Projects. The Finance Office participates in the preparation of the county budget and monitors expenditures to insure compliance.

Other responsibilities include personnel and payroll duties for county employees and monitoring of internal controls for all fiscal operations.
